Patriarchal and Synodal Encyclical issued on the occasion of the 1700th Anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council in Nicaea

His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew has issued a special Patriarchal and Synodal Encyclical for the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea. This profound message speaks directly to our parish’s unique dedication to the 318 God-bearing Fathers.
The Patriarch reminds us why Nicaea matters today: “He became human so that we might become divine.” As the only UK parish dedicated to these Holy Fathers, we have a special calling to understand this timeless message. Continue reading
