Cu mare bucurie vă anunțăm că pe data de 11 mai vom celebra sfințirea unei icoane a Sfântului Silvestru și a Sfântului Osie de Cordaba, cu un fragment din moaștele Sfântului Silvestru, ca parte a celebrărilor Nicaea 2025. Una dintre cele mai remarcabile fapte ale Sfântului Silvestru a fost confruntarea sa cu un balaur teribil din Roma. Prin puterea rugăciunii și a numelui lui Hristos, Sfântul a eliberat Roma de această prezență demonică. Vă invităm la vecernie la Biserica Sfinților 318 Părinți, sâmbătă, 10 mai, unde veți putea venera moaștele sfântului, și la Utrenie și Liturghie la Biserica Sfântul Iulian din Shrewsbury duminică, unde icoana și moaștele Sfântului Silvestru vor fi disponibile pentru venerare.
