The Shrewsbury Orthodox Church worships at the Church of the 318 Holy Fathers for all weekday services. Sunday worship is at St Julian’s Church. Weekday services include vespers on Saturday evenings, feasts of the Lord, the Theotokos, and major saints. Check out our calendar page for details.

Saturday Vespers: 6.00pm.
Festal services: Matins 9.30am, Divine Liturgy 10.30am.

Travel by Car

The church is easily accessible from the A5 Emstrey Roundabout or the A5 Bayston Hill Roundabout. From the Bayston Hill roundabout, take the A5112 towards Shrewsbury, go straight over the first roundabout and take the last (fourth) exit off the Meole Brace roundabout onto Oteley Road. The church is signposted on the left-hand side.

From the Emstrey roundabout, take the B4380. Go straight over the next two roundabouts and join Oteley Road. The church is signposted on the right-hand side.

Park in the car park indicated by the signpost and follow the path to the church.

If there is no parking available in the car park, park safely on Melrose Drive or Sutton Road. For accessible access, please drive to the church, drop passengers off, and park elsewhere.

Public Transport

Parking

Visitors to the church cannot park in Dove Close. However, there is disabled access parking outside the church via Dove Close.
