Pierre Chépélov
Pierre Chépélov is a distinguished composer and organist holding five awards from the Paris Conservatoire in writing, orchestration, and analysis. His compositional catalogue features works for voice and choir, including the European Choral Award-winning “Bestiaire Fantasque” (2012) and “O Lord, thou hast persuaded me,” which received the Prize for New Work at the Florilège vocal de Tours (2013). Pierre’s creative vision often draws inspiration from early music, as exemplified by compositions for the medievalist ensemble Discantus. A recipient of the Prix Francis et Mica Salabert, he teaches at the Conservatoire du 13ème arrondissement and the CRR de Paris.
